Fall 2020 Shows Overview
These next 5 shows will cover a wide range of topics, including some areas of the industry that traditionally receive less attention.
Consultants, Oct 27th:
We want consultants to present / pitch themselves to IPVM members. Rather than a 'thought leadership' type generic training, consultants can speak about their background, experiences, projects, and approach. Whether end users are looking to hire a consultant or integrators and manufacturers trying to better work with consultants, this will help consultants stand out.
Recruiters, Oct 29th:
Similar to consultants, recruiters can present / pitch themselves to individuals they may not normally have access to. For both the job seeker and employer side, this will help increase awareness of the recruiter and more engagement with prospects.
LPR / ANPR, Nov 17th-18th:
While many companies now offer LPR / ANPR, it does not get as much as attention as other analytics. The goal of this show is to let providers showcase what they do and let buyers see them all together.
Storage, Dec 15th- 16th:
This show will cover the entire range from SD cards to hard drives to server and storage manufacturers. Having companies present at the same time will give IPVM members easy access and exposure to manufacturers and services.
Software Tools, Dec 17th:
This show will focus on tools that integrators use, such as design software, quoting software, billing software, project management software, etc.
How The Live Presentation Works
IPVM will moderate the 20-minute presentations followed by a 10-minute QA session. IPVM will ask questions on behalf of the audience.
Plus, you get free leads during your live presentation - with a click of a button, members can send their contact information to you.
Follow-up Post or Recorded Presentation
After each show concludes, IPVM will publish the recorded show presentation for on-demand viewing.
Don, thanks. I am excited that we are expanding our industry leading shows to feature more industry professionals. Any thoughts on how to improve these shows or what others to feature, please let us know.
This is awesome thanks for taking the lead on industry events. Looking forward to learning from the presenters. In the future it might be good to hear from people on what specific problems they are trying to solve for and how they are working both on their own and in the ecosystem to address the issues. We have an opportunity to cooperate and learn from each other.
I can say from our particular widget the large amount of different streams and AI are causing a larger workload than we have ever had to deal with in the past and significant work on our end on FW as well as Eco system cooperation on the OS side has significantly accelerated. It is a major challenge requiring investment on our end.
