I have bought lots of generic DVRs and AHD cameras and i have a serious problem because installations steps and suggested software to use for PC remote and phone viewing are not working.
Are there any software which you know of which i can use in this situation which are usually compatible to different brands ?
None that I am aware of. That is the benefit of buying from name brand, more stable companies. Both Hikvision and Dahua have decent software. I would say that Hikvision has a small edge in the PC apps, but both have equally good mobile apps.
