I have a client that owns a straight horse track. They are asking me for a finish line camera, HD, motion activated, capable of shooting slow motion. This is a new one for me. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with this type of application?

I don't think that even a high speed license camera with always on IR can get down to the ms frame level required.
Is gambling involved? That may limit your choices.
<edit: assuming you mean finish-line camera that is used to determine the winner, not just with a finish-line FOV for the grandstands>
