My name is Steve Gorski and I am the General Manager Americas for Cleverciti Systems Corp. We are the leader in comprehensive, high-tech solutions for outdoor and on-street parking detection, monitoring and guidance. Our end-to-end solutions are designed to strengthen parking detection, improve guidance, and enhance communication. We seek to help organizations reduce traffic and emissions, and increase revenue while allowing drivers to enjoy a smooth, stress-free parking experience. The company is headquartered in Munich, Germany, with our US headquarters in Chicago. More information can be found at our web site:www.cleverciti.com. I used to be in the security industry and see many parallels between that and the parking industry, including a disruptive technology shift. I would love to hear your thoughts and if there is any interest in this type of solution/technology amongst security integrators?

Note: Steve asked me first and I suggested he post this.

For us, we see some parallels and potential but it is niche enough and outside of our core focus that I am not comfortable covering it yet. I am too interested in comments for or against offering parking solutions.

The only thing we have covered in this space before was part of the Milestone Kickstarter campaign - Milestone App - Parking Spotter

Since you are asking, we would not be interested.

We are a smaller integrator and do not have the resources to sell this solution as it seems this would require selling to the c level. In addition, we are already working on 2 new products/solutions to our offering so our hands are really full.

We would be more interested in paid parking solutions, as that would work with our gate operators.

Hope this helps
