Jan 25, 2017I don't actually think even Dahua knows with absolute certainty. I'm going to guess it's for a mobile interrogation/evidence/interview collecting platform. Stores direct to optical discs, is portable, and can be used to quickly review footage.
So imagine a crime scene, pull up, pop this out and mount cameras on stands to cover the evidence collection area to ensure all procedures are followed. Also, point a camera at the investigators interviewing witnesses at the same time.
It's...applicable, but it probably needs a lot of refinement, as with most things Dahua.

Thank you for your feedback. Actually, we are working on a proposal to the National Bureau of Investigation to help them present evidences in court (Department of Justice) and the same time record all court proceedings to nail suspects.
