In my company (www.bydemes.com) we´re selling a Spanish solution from SR7 Company (www.sr7.es) to all European countries, that allows industrial and forest fire detection based on thermal cameras and an advanced analytics software.
In the industrial range they´re able to detect fire or abnormal temperature changes up to 2,5Km almost without false alarms.
In the forest range, using a Pan-Tilt unit with a thermal camera plus a motorized zoom D&N camera, the system detects 1m3 fire up to 15Km radio using different presets in a 360 degree sequence.
In my opinión they´re number one worldwide, but I wonder what are their competitors and the efficiency of the existing solutions.
America and Europe are suffering terrible fire disasters and governments maybe need to discover latest technologies to prevent these terrible situations.
Any idea about the best forest fire detection systems? I think we may share our experience and knowledge.
