I could use a litle help/reccomendations on the below setup. On the left hand side of the picture is a public road. About 14m from this road is the entrance gate of the company that wishes to install ANPR camera's to open the gate based on a white list.
My issue is the following: Most specific ANPR cameras i've found are 'bullet or box+outdoor housing on an L-shape bracket' type solutions. I need to mount the cameras at the outside of the gate and i can't mount them high enough to avoid vandalism/sabotage. Hence, i'd prefer a mini dome instead that i culd mount to the poles of the gate construction (marked with 'Possible camera mounting positions' below).
Alternatively i could install the camera's behind the gate but then they would need to go up higher to be able to look over the gate (2m heigth). That will force me to move them backwards away from the gate if i want to limit the angle of view between the camera and the license plate.
Anyone any ideas or reccomendations? Any help will be much appreciated!
