Alternatives To Axis Network Horn?
Do any of you know about any other network speaker like this on the market?
I have only seen the one from Axis. I really like it, but as a distributor (Not for Axis) I would really like to find an alternative.

I guess the question would be if you are using SIP to drive it. A simple search for SIP loudspeaker delivered http://www.cyberdata.net/products/voip/digitalanalog/paging_endpoints.html
if it has to be ONVIF then that could be a limiting factor.

I prefer a speaker where we can store audio clips and then trigger playback with a HTTP string og alarm input.
Not sure if SIP would be a good option. Will any VMS systems have integration with these SIP speakers?
Genetec offers a SIP server component, called Sipelia, see Genetec Adds IP Telephony (Sipelia). But I imagine most use the Axis horn without SIP, just as a speaker/microphone integrated to the VMS.
There are other IP speakers. Valcom offers several models, as does Atlas Sound. However, I'm unaware of them being able to store clips in the device and trigger it with inputs. I think they're more like "dumb" end points, and a central server handles messaging functions.
I'm not personally aware of any that offer the VMS integration and clip triggering the Axis model does.
There's the old fashioned way of using an IP camera with two-way audio sent out to any analog powered speaker. Drive the input from any analog input.
There is that, but the OP is a distributor looking for a product to sell similar to the C3003-E.

Are you aware of any "analog powered speaker(s) sic" that are loud enough to hear from the same distances as the Axis 3003 (50+ft)?
These will work with HTTP triggers. Not sure about physical IO’s though.
