ADT Stock Circling The Drain…. Today At All-Time Low.

The market for remote-monitored alarm “security” is spiking upward for “verification” systems, but downward for basic remote-monitored “deterrence” alarms, which is going to the DIY/MIY new guys. ADT, Vivint, Monitronics and others hold heavy inventory of basic high priced RMR deterrent customers that are vulnerable to high attrition (future earnings). During normal times, calls to police from private monitoring firms receive low or no priority, unless reporting remote witnessed 911 type events. Even worse during times of community crisis. Most deterrent systems are known to produce "nuisance" alarms (near 100% error/false). Big opportunity, long term, for “verification”. Question: Are you watching RMR deteriorate, or participating in RMR stability and growth?
