ADI Now Selling Avigilon In EMEA
I've asked Avigilon. I also saw ADI run this LinkedIn promotion this morning:
I just searched ADI's website for Avigilon and did not get those matches.
What country is this searching being done in?

ADI was setup as a distributor for EMEA where Avigilon already uses distribution.
Edit: This also includes the UK for the sake of clarity.
ADI is causing some hell of confusion with this:
There is a nice benefit to a manufacturer to have distributors hold inventory (and pay for it in advance) versus the traditional dealer model. Would be interesting to see if they are considering this route in the US in the future.
I suspect their vast dealer network would have something to say about that. It would be nice, but I don't personally see it happening.
I could see them wanting to capitalize on the NDAA Commercially by giving distribution a try through their value line nvrs, SL series cameras and core ACC Only. Leaving enterprise products exclusive to their dealer partner channel. It’s just a matter of when now.
One of the benefits that distribution could bring in this type of situation is importation and support deporting rather than the manufacturer handling it all themselves. Since AVO hardware is built in NA and then exported globally this seems logical to me.
