Has any end user or consultant ever required both the Security and Fire Alarm Integrator(s) to "sign off" on a document/statement such as "All doors will unlock immediately when the fire alarm is pulled."
Is is a regular requirement in Fire Alarm Inspections to test all such doors?
As a consultant, I always conduct a complete "Acceptance Test" of the systems after the installation is completed. If we specified that certain doors are to automatically unlock when the fire alarm is activated, this would be one of the things that we would test for.
