4K Cameras But No 4K Monitor

I recently quoted a 4K camera for a customer to cover a large parking area and also included a 4K monitor but his concern is that the existing computer monitors for some of the end users who will be viewing the cameras are only 1080P and not 4K. What is everyone's advice on overcoming this objection?

An old post on that general situation: Do Monitors Waste Higher Resolution Surveillance Cameras? Net/net - still get live digital zoom benefits as well as investigation benefits even with a lower resolution monitor.

Most people don't watch cameras live.  High resolution cameras is useful for playback being able to zoom in more and more.

Note that if you do not have a 4k monitor, or even if you do and the GUI has control that takes up space on the screen, you will get aliasing.  If you don't educate the end user that this is simply a visual effect from smushing the 4k to fit in the monitor/window, they will be concerned.  Once they know that it is all good and when you zoom in you don't see it, they are usually good to go.

I have seen a few end users who this was unacceptable and they couldn't grasp the concept.  For them, have the system display fullHD for live viewing....
