Is this compatible with other products, or can I only use this with Dropcam?

This kit is for newbie defeaters at best. I give it 5 defeats max, before the rivet deforms or the handles detach.

Serious defeaters, looking for quality, dependable tools will be disappointed. ;)

Not only can you cut the cable but you can though a snowball at it and completely knock the camera off the mount.

I'd be willing to start a 2nd company that helps camera mfg with camera design so that something like this doesn't enter the market with such a blatant flaw but it would be out of business in a month as all of them (even the market leaders) could care less about the input of people who actually install these cameras.

Normally, I like fancy stuffs like this within homes, etc. This is why I liked ULO so much that I ordered one, and I also like Dropcam, use that what is it for.

Surveillance for dummies, nothing more. What the dog did and how when you were somewhere else.

But this product makes me angry a little bit, cause the promo, and also the communication about (well paid marketing people) persuade the customers, this is the security on the next(nest LOL) level. But not. It is misleading, and also people will have a feeling of being safe. But they are not.

I liked John when you mentioned "Another reviewer said the cable would help prevent theft". It must be a joke.

And this is the main problem about security, about how people relates to security. Promos like this will have a big impact on the market, on the new "apple" generation, who know everything much more better than those who saw a lot of things within industry.

People are amazed by this:

But I ask why? Most of the security equipments do their job in silence, you don't know what happens, just realize FD or Police, or MED are on the right place when you need (sometimes not). Did anybody in this life counted how professional security equipment saved lives, and property? I don't think so.

And now a "tech" company will show the future. Don't be fool! Use this toy for playing, and use a pro device for work.

Nest "changes the game" with Sightline, which allows hours of footage to be reviewed in seconds.

Also, people without Nest Aware plans can use Sightline to review events of the last three hours.
