Hello All,

Can anyone tell me how to solve the following question please ?

Q: You have a 1/3" sensor camera. You want the camera to cover an area 46.6' wide, 233' away. What focal length should you use?

This question is in week 4's quiz. The correct answer is 24 mm with unavailable explanation. However, when I tried to solve it over the Camera Calculator, the result was 5.6 mm (not 24 mm).

Thanks

If you received 5.6mm as your result then I believe you entered 46.6° as the Angle of View variable rather than 46.6' as the Width variable within the calculator. I just tested this by swapping the numbers and the results change from the correct answer 24mm to 5.6mm.
