utilizing 256 NVIDIA GPU processor cores onboard
Presumably being the NVIDIA Tegra X1?
That would explain the camera looking like a mini projector, with an obvious cooling fan. The X1 is (relatively) big, and power hungry, likely generating a fair bit of heat when it is doing a lot of video processing.
I wonder what PoE class this device falls under, assuming it uses PoE. The X1 can draw up to 10W by itself, then you have all of the other stuff on board, I would guess this requires some form of PoE+.
Moreover, Kogniz says that most customers they talk with have not been informed previously that the Kogniz solution exists:
A lot of the customers we've spoken with didn't even know about this solution and that it was available to them for this pricepoint. Especially when it gets to the multi-location scenario.
Obviously my dude. Since you are trying to bypass the channel, your 24 employees are not going to get in front of a whole lot of opportunities. Unless you plan to spend that VC money on advertising in all liklihood it will remain that way.
30 days of 24/7 full resolution 4K cloud-based video storage is included, with more storage optional at additional cost.
Is that full frame rate too? What is the upload bandwidth requirement per camera?
Update: Kogniz has hired a VP of Sales Chris Mack, who previously worked for Qognify and Lenel.
