You've been trying to sign an integrator as a channel partner for a few years, but they've been loyal to their current provider.  However, the owner finally reached out to you to talk about working together.  His current provider was purchased about 18 months ago, and you've heard from other integrators that they've become "corporate bottom-liners", and don't go the extra mile to customize solutions like they used to.

The company with which you're meeting has about 15 sales people and three offices within 100 miles of each other.  The owner is an engineer by trade, and prides himself on his team being able to customize solutions.  In fact, that has become his identity, and he is very proud of that.
