Looking for some input on an End of Life benchmark for an analog camera / DVR based system running 24x7.

I am guessing you mean in terms of years, 7 is a common average, though many have 10 years or more.

As usual, just what I needed, thanks John.

From a cost perspective:

How many HDDs, how many have your replaced, and how frequent do failures occur?

Can the system afford downtime?  Is it mission critical?

What is your annual cost of materials, time and labor to maintain?

How much is a new system going to cost...and would it replace existing, supplement existing, phase-out existing?
