Has IPVM reviewed this or similar? (I did a brief search, i'm not even sure what to call these tools, so hard to search)

We didn't test a model with fiber capability, just FYI.

In our tests, it worked pretty well. It could be a little slow, but generally opened most ONVIF cameras without issue. It had some direct drivers, but they were less reliable. 

Also, several members have commented with issues connecting to cameras since our test, so your mileage may vary.

TDR Alone makes this worth it, but here is a list of advertised features, if half of these work, it's invaluable tool, every Tech/Specialist should have one:

Ours had a lot of those features, but one differentiator on that one you're looking at is app support. Specifically:

you can install apps with android version, such as Skype, wechat etc

We couldn't get anything to install on the one we tested. I believe others have had more success. Being able to put a manufacturer's specific app would be a big improvement.
