Anyone have any positve or negative feedback on Amag?

In our Favorite Access Control 2014 survey, AMAG finished well outside of the top 10.

While many might see this as a negative, it likely has more to do with our readership demographics than strong brand sentiment. AMAG is a dealer line for both access and video, and the typical AMAG dealer leads with access offerings with video as a 'me too' offering. In contrast, many IPVMers consider independent video a core offering.

In the past, we have gotten feedback from several AMAG dealer members that paint the access management side as solid and competitive with big incumbents, but video management as unstable and shaky for large camera systems. This matches my SI experience as well.

Amag is about the most proprietary system I have run into.

Thats not a good thing except for the dealer.
