Infinova Acquires Swann
3 years ago, a Chinese / US surveillance manufacturer, Infinova, raised $300 million cash in a billion dollar plus IPO. Later that year, they bought March Networks.
Now, Infinova is dipping into its war chest to buy one of the biggest direct to end user surveillance manufacturers, Swann.
In this note, we examine the details of Infinova and Swann's financials, projecting the potential impact of the deal.

Robert, Consider Swann did $125 million, Q-See does $70+ million, Lorex does ~$75 million. I bet a majority of their sales are big box retailer or online.
As such, I am guessing it's a few hundred million dollars per year. That's a decent chunk of the market, based on revenue, even more significant based on volume, considering the much lower average sales price of these products.
Then Swann is going to buy less from Hikvision... I'm not sure if Infinova has products that can compete in price with Hikvision.
