New Audio Surveillance Device Eliminates 3 Cables (Louroe)

Adding audio to IP surveillance systems can be a pain, often requiring a completely separate set of devices with their own cabling scheme and power supplies, incompatible with the single UTP usually run for cameras.

Now, Louroe has introduced their IF-PX, a PoE audio interface with built in preamp, power supply, and more designed to eliminate complex cabling and power supplies normally required.

In this note we take a look at what this box does and how it may simplify audio installations.

Having over fifty years in security, I would do this much different and just as reliable....thinking out of the box for my personal security requirements.. However when desiging and selling items which are security related and especially audio, there are several statutes both state and federal etc which must be complied with. My business and residence is completely surveiled by audio and video. However, I find that having a great system is great but having everyone believe you have much more for security is a great advantage. An oldtimers thoughts.. :)
