Nice Job IPVM.
Direct Message Fellow IPVM Members
With 10,000+ members and a who's who of leading industry people, IPVM membership provides interaction with many people who can help you. Sometimes, you would like to reach out to a person directly to ask questions about something they offer or provide.
To solve that, we have added direct messaging. Our approach is different. Here's how it works.
Next to a member's name on a comment, there will be an optional mail icon, like so:
Click the mail icon and a message page will be opened, like so:
Enter in your message and it will be emailed to that member. It will include your email address. If the person wants to respond, s/he can do so directly.

This should be a handy feature.
Finally! Thanks, IPVM!
I look forward to a perpetually empty inbox!
Lol, actually there is no inbox in our implementation, the message in full is immediately emailed to the recipient and when you reply it goes directly to the requester's email. This makes it easier for both parties to communicate.
This is a great tool, thanks IPVM
Nice work! looks great!
Might be interesting to link to a person's LinkedIn Profile...
Hi Todd, thanks! We already provide a link on each member's name. For example, you link to your company's website but some member's link to their LinkedIn profile.
Roughly speaking, since I have not analyzed data, it is split between linking to one's own website and one's LinkedIn profile. It's the member's choice, of course.
Btw, if you want other members to message you, you'll need to activate receiving messages (which can be turned on in the main post above).
John & team nice touch to add more value through direct communications and networking.
