In addition, DVTel hired long time IPVM commentator and former IPVM trainer Marty Major. Marty is happy to be back in front of live classes and behind the wheel rumbling down I95 :)

Two great hires and even better guys!
DVTel's a good product, my biggest beef is trying to teach a security guard how to use it. It's gui needs some help for the lay-man (lame man?) in my opinion.
Scott, that may have been true in the past, but take a look at what DVTEL will be revealing at the ASIS Show. Latitude 7.0's thin client has been redesigned to be remarkably intuitive and simple to operate. If you like working with tablets, you'll love 7.0
Scott,
Good morning. Full disclosure, I am the Director of Sales for the Central US for DVTEL.
First let me start off saying congrats on joining Rehan and Mr. Connor at N2N. Two of my favorite people in this industry! I trust they're well.
Having worked at 2 of the most recognized VMS companies in the world, I can tell you that user experience is always in a current state of change and evaluation.
I can also stress to you that even the most complicated of systems if configured properly and with input from the end user can be broken down to their basics from a usabilty and functionality stand point. Conversely the most simple of software can seem complicated to users if the right expectations are not put in place.
If you have an existing DVTEL customer that we can assist you with don't hesitate to send me a note via linked in at anytime. The N2N guys have my number as well and I'm happy to assist in anyway I can. Maybe a discussion on the current configuration and how the end-user is utilizing the client would be beneficial. We have a great SE team in the US and training group that we can put you in touch with. Again, feel free to contact me at anytime.
