Budget VMS Tests

Our goal is to analyze and inform the community on the strengths and weaknesses of product options that receive less marketing attention but may provide greater value.
Are there 'hidden' gems? Can you save money? Get better usability?
Criteria for 'Budget VMS'
The following 3 criteria will be used for selecting VMS software to evaluate:
- Average price per channel less than $100 for 4 cameras
- Supports multiple third party cameras
- Available for purchase on-line
We are looking for inexpensive systems that can easily be purchased and used with many cameras on the market.
