BRS Labs Gets $12 Million More for Video Analytics

The investment is from private equity (not from VC firms).

Demo Technology
BRS Labs has added new demonstrations of their technology. Here's a particularly interesting example of detecting a backback instantly at less than .5 lux.
How Well Does this Work?
The above demo is either (A) a revolutionary breakthrough in video analytics or (B) an extremely creative use of video editing software.
I remain skeptical until I see independent proof of these claims. As we examined in our Intelligent Video Market analysis, the video analytics market is struggling. Has BRS Labs really solved the problems hindering the rest of the market?
