NUUO Feedback 2022?

I am tasked with designing a video surveillance system where the client is locked into the NUUO product. I am not in any way familiar with the product, and am concerned that someone's cousin or something made this commitment. Can anyone advise as to whether or not this is a solid product? I know from reading other articles here that there were support issues in the past. Do they remain?

The project will require remote access to video at 3-5 different sites, with one site being much larger than the others. I'm going to end up needing to use Thermal cameras as well as fixed and PTZ visible and IR devices. There will be no central monitoring, only generation of alarms to be distributed to the appropriate personnel for review/action. Additionally, would be good to know if the product integrates well with different access systems.
