Axis has kicked off a public tech support channel on YouTube, already posting 100 videos.

While integrators have previously called Axis tops in Manufacturer Support, this new channel is viewable by anyone, without the need to be an official 'partner'.

However, we don't see a rush of end-users trying to do their own troubleshooting with assistance from these videos. Most of the videos are installation and mounting tips for specific models.

A few clips address deep or uncommon configuration items like how to connect an Axis camera by using ONVIF S:

Or how to configure Custom Exposure Zones:

Overall, if you're an Axis house, the channel includes fairly valuable information and is especially worth a periodic review if you're an installer or technician.

Bless manufacturers who produce short technical videos that don't require speakers or headphones.

Awesome initiative.

While most of the videos seems basic, there are a lot of integrator who don't ever read a manual...and asks you basic questions (talking about brazil here and as an Instructor).

That enable Onvif video should be seen by all integrator...it saves so much time and effort...
